    Co-Founder, President, GM of Servants Pro

    I created this organization in the 80s as a way to coach the sport I love and spread the gossip of Jesus Christ. Servants have grown since then and affected thousands of people. I am grateful for serving such a great God!

    Curtis Horton

    VP Basketball Operations, Treasurer, GM of High School Division

    I currently work as an Electrical Engineer for Devon Energy and have an engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma and a Master’s in Energy Management from Oklahoma City University.

     

    I have been a player and now coach for the Servants for over 15 years. I love helping our youth grow spiritually, emotionally and becoming a better student athlete! But not only do players learn from me but I learn from them. We play and teach different than other organizations and that’s what makes us great because it’s more than just basketball.

     

    Life is tough but it’s Gods Grace that I am thankful for and will always continue to spread the good news of Jesus Christ!

    Morris "Coach Mo" Wilson Sr.

    I have served as a deacon at Wilshire for four years, but me and my wife of 27 years, Anita, have been members since 2005. I have worked as a bank examiner for the last 10 years, but prior to this career choice I coached basketball for 17 years.

     

    I started attending Wilshire when I worked at Southern Nazarene University (SNU) as an Assistant basketball coach and Assistant Professor in the Kinesiology department. Before working at SNU, I was the Head Basketball and Soccer Coach at Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, Texas for two years. Both of these careers require a lot of travel, but these travels have given me the opportunity to meet different types of people from different backgrounds, which has allowed me to serve Christ in many ways. I have a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Management both from SNU. I also completed the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in Boulder, CO and graduated from Star Spencer High School, while playing a total of 8 years of basketball in high school and college.

    I played all of my high school years with the Servants and am coming into my third year on the coaching staff. I am currently a 24 year old Psychology student. I enjoy working with our youth to make them better players and men.

    Nehemiah Thompson

    GM K-8th Grade Division and Assistant Treasurer, VP Training

    I am a current college student at uco getting my degree in health science I played with the servants since I was 4 years old it taught me many things. How to have a never quit mentality and how to use my gifts to Glorify my creator. I am super excited to say this is my 3rd official year giving back to the program that helped grow and mold me and I strive to do the same. From editing videos for film study to making YouTube videos to making highlight for players I enjoy giving back to the Servants organization.
